Don't ask me how I only just found out that Kim Weldin, half of the wonderful Tape Waves, has a solo bedroom project. Bandcamp discoverer acted as my source pointing to what appears to be the second release as Shiny Times, a cover of Vashti Bunyan's "I Want To Be Alone". 

Here softer than ever before with cotton wool delicacy and minimalist guitar strum echoes floating hazily in dream-like bliss.

Earlier releases "So Shy" and "Always Do" have more in common with Tape Waves, full of a familiar guitar jangle and Kim's breathy vocals, enriching your day with a melody that's both glistening calm and wistful melancholia.
