Five Teeth - New Music "Introducing"

Another discovery via the prolific Gold Flake Paint, Five Teeth is London based New-Yorker Karen Edith Millar and her debut track "11211" reminds me of Alice Boman if she swapped her piano for swampy guitar riffs. It's murky, it's melancholy and it's utterly compelling.

We are introduced to Five Teeth in a dark place, a gloomy, weighty world in which a thick veil of guitar fuzz only adds to the almost suffocating intensity of her songcraft, raw and unsettling, it gnaws at the soul and stays there long after the track has finished.

"11211" is haunting, chilling and yet I can't stop listening to it, though perhaps a word of warning, don't listen to this if your goldfish died the other day...
