“Remind Me” is the name of the newly released video by Little May, an aptly titled track for me it is too. I’ve been unfortunate in terms of seeing the trio live for some time having first posted them here back in July 2014. For The Company remains an overlooked 2015 release, an elegant and emotive release filled with darkly-hued cinematic instrumentation and devastatingly pretty harmonies that saw the trio leap into more a dramatic, dynamic rock sound after an earlier set of intricate but folkier demos.
“Remind Me” is a good indication of that, a rocking, rumbling track filled with menacing percussion and twanging, scuzzy guitars amongst direct, almost menacing vocals. There’s a sudden drop at the two minute mark and Little May’s trademark harmonies fill the air with a beautiful, plaintive air before the drums return to signal an intense whirlwind of a finale. It's stunning.
