This reminds me of early September Girls (yes and 90's indie bands) and that is certainly no bad thing. Night School’s debut full-length Blush is due out June 17th via Graveface Records and looks like it will be absolutely perfect for summer from the fuzz-pop gems which I've heard from it so far.
Take "Lost" and "Last Disaster" as perfect indication of that, filled with catchy, foot tapping choruses, shimmering guitars, giddying harmonies and forthright percussion that could be the sunniest of melodies if it weren't for the purposely muddy, fuzzy production and reverb-heavy vocals that drown all that sweetness with a healthy dose of menace. Just the way I like it. We can't be too cheery now, can we?!
