Fear of Men #4 - Green Sea

Fear of Men took me by surprise this very day (May the 1st, would you believe it, not if you looked outside and saw the grey skies that's for sure) with news of their latest release and a stream of the lead track, "Green Sea" (which originally appeared in the bands first demo tape, the 'Hanna Schygulla' EP).

This (naturally) spruced up version highlights the very reason why the London / Brighton four-piece have captured the attention of so many in a relatively short period of time, it's gorgeous. A rich and somewhat wistful melody chugs at your heart-strings complimented by shimmering textures and Jess' sweet (not sugary) vocals, "Green Sea" is Fear of Men at their most exquisite and beautiful.

The single will be released on June 18th via Sexbeat (limited to just 300 white vinyls and available to pre-order here) with a single launch planned for the next day at The Old Blue Last. The band also have dates supporting Best Coast and Purity Ring also in June with festival shows at Camden Crawl and The Great Escape confirmed amongst others. I've already picked them in my tips for the year, previews of festivals, Fear of Men continue to deserve my unconditional love and affection.
